Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ATS Scorer website and free ATS resume checker at https://ats-score.vaqnova.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ATS Scorer lets you upload a resume and, optionally, a job description, and returns an estimated ATS score, keyword analysis and suggestions. The Service is free and requires no account. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • upload files you do not have the right to process, or that contain malware;
  • upload other people's resumes without their permission;
  • attempt to overload, scrape, reverse engineer or disrupt the Service, or bypass its rate limits;
  • use automated tools to submit large numbers of files;
  • use the Service to build a competing product or dataset.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the resumes and text you upload. You grant us only the limited, temporary permission needed to process them and return your results. As described in our Privacy Policy, uploaded files are processed in memory and are not stored.

4. No guarantee of results

Scores and suggestions are estimates generated by automated rules. Real applicant tracking systems, recruiters and employers use different criteria. A high score does not guarantee an interview or a job, and a low score does not mean you are unqualified. You are responsible for the content of your resume and for checking that any change you make is accurate and truthful. Please read our Disclaimer.

5. Content on the site

Articles, keyword lists, examples and other content on the site are provided for general information. You may use the resume examples and keyword lists to write your own resume. You may not republish our articles or pages in bulk without permission; short quotes with a link back are welcome.

6. Third-party links, ads and affiliates

The Service contains ads and links to third-party websites, including affiliate links for which we may earn a commission. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that party.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATS Scorer and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunities, employment, data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to ₹1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ATS Scorer and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
